In Lope de Rueda’s La tierra de Jauja (The Land of Jauja, 1547), the rivers flow with chocolate and nobody has to work! This adaptation tells the story of two scheming tricksters who bamboozle naive travelers to get what they want. Recommended for ages 10+. Running time: 9 minutes and 15 seconds.
