The Comedia in Performance
Bringing Hispanic classical theater to audiences in LA and beyond

Since 2014, and under the direction of UCLA Professor Barbara Fuchs, Diversifying the Classics has been promoting the comedia to L.A. audiences and beyond by organizing performances and staged readings in collaboration with partners such as the UCLA Department of Theater, Playwrights’ Arena, Repertorio Español, New York Classical Theater, and Red Bull Theater. Initiatives include Golden Tongues, the UCLA Staged Reading Series, and the Hispanic Golden Age Classics Series.
