Capulets and Montagues and Other Publications Now Available!

We are excited to announce several new translations in our series with Juan de la Cuesta, The Comedia in Performance and Translation. This run highlights the fabulous translations of noted actor and director Dakin Matthews, whose rhyming verse masterfully renders the complexities of early modern Spanish into English. The most recent of these publications is Lope de Vega’s take on the Romeo and Juliet story, Capulets and Montagues—a different spin on the classic tale of star-crossed lovers.
