Richard Huddleson

Assistant Professor

Richard Huddleson is an Assistant Professor at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, where he specialises and takes delight in Translation and Catalan Studies. He joined Diversifying the Classics in 2020 to work on Sor Juana’s Amor es más laberinto and returned in 2024 to work on Lope de Vega’s La doncella Teodor. Not constrained by time periods, Richard translates medieval, early modern, and contemporary theatre from across the Catalan Countries.
