Aina Soley i Mateu

Aina Soley i Mateu is a Ph.D. alumna of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UCLA. A member of Diversifying the Classics from 2018 to 2025, she has participated in multiple comedia play translations and assisted in the organization of three editions of LA Escena Festival. She also advised on dramaturgy for four iterations of the Golden Tongues initiative (in conjunction with LA’s Playwright Arena), and co-edited the anthology Golden Tongues: Adapting Hispanic Classical Theater in Los Angeles (Bloomsbury Publishers, 2024).
