Diversifying the Classics will be hosting LA Escena 2024 from September 12th to 17th at the newly renovated Nimoy Theater in Westwood. Come see original presentations of classical Hispanic works by acclaimed artists from LA, NYC, Mexico City, and Madrid. Tickets are free but space is limited, so reserve today! 

Kicking off National Hispanic Heritage Month, LA Escena will offer bilingual entertainment and innovative takes on Hispanic classics. Don’t miss the chance to see internationally renowned performers Grumelot, Los Colochos, Theatre Dybbuk, and many more. Our contemporary artists will present brand-new works inspired by classical playwrights such as Lope de Vega, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Miguel de Cervantes, Ana Caro, and Juan Ruiz de Alarcón. All productions will be in Spanish and/or English. Spanish presentations will include subtitles.
