Brenda Saraí Jaramillo

Ph.D.

Brenda Saraí Jaramillo is a Ph.D. alumna of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UCLA. She has collaborated on the translation of numerous plays with Diversifying the Classics, as well as co-written the introduction to The Beast of Hungary (2025) and The King Born a Woman (forthcoming). Her academic interests include Latin American literature, motherhood studies, gender and sexuality studies, and translation theory and practice.
